Performance

SYMPTOMS
IGZ uses too much CPU and/or loads extremely slow.

SOLUTION
Use performance settings to lower the amount of CPU and memory usage that IGZones consumes.

When you are logged into the client, click Options > Settings.
Then click the tab "Performance".
You'll see a slidder.The further right you drag the slidder the greater performance increase you will see at the cost of some visual effects.

#level 0 : All effects
#level 1 : No hover effects
#level 2 : Slower refresh rate
#level 3 : Even slower refresh rates
#level 4 : More visual effects disabled

SYMPTOMS
While you play a random map game or a scenario in a campaign in Microsoft Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, the game may slow down or run irregularly after you play for several minutes.
