Clans Guide

Clans module exists of a couple features, and it is important for each player to know how to use clans efficiently to get the desired effects.

How to become a Clan Founder/Leader
To create a clan, click "clans" on the left Navigation menu. You should see a screen with a link called "Create New Clan". Click on it, and you should see a form with information you will enter about your clan.

When registering your clan name, it can be as long as you want, but your clan tag should be short, although 10 characters are allowed, short clan tags will allow your clan members more freedom. We recommend 3 letter clan tags!.

If you want your members to look like this:
X_Clan_Member

X_Clan being the tag; then you should create a clan with tag X_Clan and in your My Clan tab, or when you click "Clans" in menu, you should see an option to "Display all tags" or "Hide all tags". Hiding the tag allows your clan tag to disappear from your name. This allows your members to register their name as "X_Clan_member", instead of just "member".

If a member in your clan is named "X_Clan_member" and your tags are shown, then in IGZones he will look like this:

[X_Clan]X_Clan_member

To avoid this, you should "Hide all tags" in your clan administration page.

However, If you want your members to look like this:
[X_Clan]member

Then tell all your members to not include their clan name in their username. If they've already made this mistake, then tell them to register with a free valid email such as http://www.gmail.com. Remember to Show all tags if you want [X_Clan] to be displayed.

Summary:

If you want to accept members into your clan, tell your future members to go to your clans page, either by finding your clan in clan list, or by typing the ID of your clan in /clans/info/1. Then tell them to click "Apply to This Clan" link provided.

When members have applied to your clan, you can accept them by clicking "Clans" in the menu or clicking on your clan in "My Clan" block. You can also view your pending applicants in the "My Clan" block. You may also reject members if you want.

You may also make a leader if you are the founder of your clan. This will give the leader the ability to do everything you can except kick the founder.

You may also kick members that are in your clan as well.

How to become a Clan Member
You can become a clan member by looking in the clan list for your clan, or by asking your leader/founder what the clan id is and then typing clans/info/1 in the url. Then click "Apply to This Clan". Then wait for the clan leader/founder to accept you, or send him a message to accept you.
